The 26a Redwing Lathe is a 1/4 HP, 1725/3450 rpm two-speed polishing lathe with 6" [15.2cm] shaft height. Designed and built for use as a polishing lathe, its tapered shaft will accept standard tapered chucks, and includes a left and right chuck remover for easy removal of chucks.
The 6" [15.2cm] shaft height of the 26a Redwing Lathe will allow larger diameter buffing wheels for polishing operations. Built to last, the 26a is manufactured to provide years of durable service, and is a must have piece of equipment for hearing aid repair and modification.
